Our Story

Encinitas is a small coastal town in Southern California — a place where children grow up barefoot on warm sand, chasing waves and soaking in the sun.

We wanted to bring that carefree, sun-drenched spirit into clothing children actually love to wear. Clothing that moves with them, and never gets in the way of a good day.

Our main fabric is 100% organic cotton, chosen for how it feels on the skin. Every piece is cut and sewn by experienced hands, in small runs.

Every drop of ENCINITAS begins with a flower of the California coast. Our first is the bird of paradise — bright, bold and full of sun, blooming in gardens all along the coast.
